KPQ open on Oz day

Every year, the question arises: “Is it un-Australian to open for business on Australia Day?” Well, we’ve thought long and hard about this and the fact is, we think it’s damned un-Australian not to fly a kite on Australia Day, and for that reason, Kitepower will be open this Thursday, January 26.

To fit in with our busy schedule of lamingtons for breakfast and BBQ for tea, we’ll only be open from 10am until 2pm, and lessons will be available to whoever gets in first.

Obviously, we’ll do our best to drum up some wind so that you can have the perfect Australia Day, staring at the sky and smiling. Because that’s what this country is all about.

Australia, do us proud, fly a kite this Ozzie Day.
