There’s definitely a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow… Kiting gold, that is! When our suppliers heard about our mass kite fest at Rainbow Beach next weekend, they started bombarding us with new-season demo gear.
All you happy campers joining us for the Kitepower WINDter Escape will be able to get your hands on 2011 kites from Cabrinha, Slingshot, Core and Wainman, and 2011 boards including the full-carbon board by Carved, the Slingshot Misfit, Underground’s Race board, and a range from Cardboards, the Australian kiteboard company.
You can also try your hand at stand-up paddleboarding on a brand-new Starboard.
There are around 40 people coming so it’s going to be a massive weekend. Kitepower will be hosting a surprise barbecue on the Saturday evening (surprise!), BYO drinks and plates.
Can’t make it for the whole weekend? Feel free to join us on Saturday or Sunday as we make whoopee with the wind. Just let us know you’re coming so we can let you know where we are.
Don’t forget to vote So the Kitepower WINDter escape is on at the same time as the election (and is guaranteed to be at least three million times more exciting), but you still have to vote.
